Neil Lazarus
Neil is an internationally acclaimed commentator and educator in the fields of Middle East politics, public diplomacy and effective communication training. He addresses over 30,000 people annually, including Christian, Muslim and Jewish groups who seek a deeper insight into the complexities of the tiny strip of land between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River that is perpetually in the international spotlight.
As one of Israel’s leading keynote educators, his audience includes legal experts, diplomats, community professionals, journalists and students, and he is often one of the first ports of call to explain the intricacies of Israel and the region in the media and to foreign audiences. He is a prolific writer, with pieces published regularly in Israeli and international papers, and is one of the guest commentators of choice for networks like Israel Hayom, ILTV, SkyNews, Reuters and Middle East Report,
Neil was born in Britain and immigrated to Israel in 1988 after earning a BA (HONS) in Politics and Russian Studies from the University of Wales. He also holds a Master's Degree in Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
